Where did December go?

Originally published January 2015 • Updated July 2026

The original podcast that accompanied this post was uploaded to my previous YouTube channel, which is no longer available. Rather than let these project notes disappear with it, I wanted to preserve them here as part of my knitting journal archive.

It's always fun looking back at older projects and remembering where I was in my knitting journey. Some of these projects still make me smile, and some taught me lessons I'll never forget!

WIPS :

At the time of this podcast, I was working on two projects.

Peacock Hat

Designer: Brenda K. B. Anderson

This hat was being knit with Red Heart yarn for a local homeless donation project.

Harvest by Tin Can Knits

I was about one inch away from knitting the bottom edge before picking up the sleeves.

I used Berroco yarn for this sweater, and looking back now, it's fun to remember knitting my very first sweater.
