I actually have a sweater FO
Guess what I finished :) My Harvest sweater.. Actually its been done since Feb 15,2015 but we have had so many viruses, flu, ear infections and sinus infections that it is not even funny. Also I have been trying to get hings together and tagged for a local consignment sale. So far I have 130 tags going in and hoping to add a few more when the boys go down for a nap.
So lets look at the FO's
Harvest: by TinCanKnits
Pattern : Wonderfully written, easy to follow and lots of previous projects to read through others notes.
Needle: Us 8 for the main body and Us 7 for all the Garter areas.
Yarn: Berroco Vintage in the 5192 Chana Dal colorway. I used about 6.87 skeins and around 1490.08 yards and 687 grams.
Mods: I did not do the last 8 increases around the chest area. I started off making the XXL but quickly realized I was more XL the arm holes are bigger than I would like due to the fact they are the size of the XXL. I love this combo of pattern and yarn. It is super soft and super wearable.

The next thing I worked on was on of my #Stashdown2015 projects and also from #BookishStitcherPodcast KAL #15oldestskeinsin2015
Crinkle in the Storm : Crinkle Beret by Sarah Wilson
Pattern: for some strange reason me and this pattern was at war during the lace area. It is a fun pattern and does work up fast but I could not remember the pattern and had to look at my notes.
Needle: US 7 4.5m
Yarn: YarnBee Rainbow Wool in the Seastorm color way. I used about 131 yards and 73 grams. The yarn feels awful to me at first... however after its soak it magically softens up. The yarn has a slight Halo and does not show the pattern as much as I would wish for it to but not bad. I do love the color change in my skein. I know I read on Ravelry how others hated their color change. This hat is for sale at my local Yarn shop if you are interested in buy it :)
Socks on the Rising ~ Rock and Roll Style
Pattern Barn Raising by Shelly Mackie & Larissa Brown
Needle US 2
Yarn: Brown Sheep Wildfoote Luxury Sock in the 100 SY Rock N Roll colorway. My square was about 43 yards and 10 grams. I did a crochet magic loop cast on with a crochet hook then slide the stitches to my needles and followed the pattern. the Yarn again felt awful to me at first. However like before the magic of a good soak came into play and it is super soft. The colors are super bright and will brighten your day.
This square is a long term project and is part of the #BookishStitcherPodcast Blanket KAL
#Stashdown2015 and the #MinervaTurkeyPodcast #BRQ2015
I have also have been hard at work on some Hats from the Cats in Hats book by Sara Thomas. If you follow me on instagram you have seen pictures. I will be doing a post about that book only towards the end of the month.
