Crochet Blog Week Day 7: What the Future Holds for Crochet and Life
"Day Seven (Sunday April 28th): Looking Forward One year from now, when the 5th Knitting & Crochet Blog Week rolls around, where do you hope your crafting will have taken you to? What new skills, projects and experiences do you hope you might have conquered or tried?"
One of my biggest dreams for the future is to continue growing in my crochet skills, to learn more stitches and techniques, and to be able to write patterns that bring joy to others. I imagine a time when I can look back at everything I have learned and see how far I have come. I already have ideas stored in notebooks, scribbles on scraps of paper, and notes in my phone for projects I want to make someday.
Another part of the future that excites me is sharing what I love with others. Whether that means teaching someone how to crochet, supporting a friend who wants to learn, or giving handmade gifts that carry love and encouragement, I want my crochet journey to always connect me with people. Crafting has a way of bringing joy, comfort, and community into everyday life.In the next few months, I hope to complete several projects that are already in progress, and in the next year, I hope to explore new patterns and techniques that challenge me. I am curious to see where my hook and yarn will take me next.
The future may be unknown, but I look forward to it with hope, creativity, and a heart ready to embrace new beginnings.
